We are excited to announce that Stephen Goldstein has joined Keyframe as an Operating Partner!
Stephen joins Keyframe after a number of senior executive roles focused on launching businesses, turbocharging growth, and operational turnarounds.

A few of his more recent experiences include:
President at Kernel Foods – a robotic concept restaurant founded by the founder of Chipotle
COO at Wonder, where he helped spearhead an operational and technology turnaround, leading all operational, commercial, and product teams, of a venture-backed company founded by Marc Lore
Deliveroo, where he grew Deliveroo’s Enterprise business from $500MM of GMV to ~$3.0Bn in under 24 months. He also launched Deliveroo’s 1st party grocery business to $250MM of revenue in 14 months.
President of Tim Hortons USA
Stephen has known John at Keyframe for over a decade, and began working as an advisor to Keyframe’s portfolio in September of 2024. He joined us full-time as an operating partner in February of 2025.
Stephen’s focus on the team is working with the Keyframe portfolio as a catalyst to hitting their business plan goals. Across Keyframe’s portfolio – there are many exciting things that businesses could be pursuing – but not always enough hands on a management team to focus on special projects that are in addition to or outside of the day to day. Stephen is here to be an extra pair of extremely capable hands – with diversified experience and a strong track record of success – to help out. In just his first few months, he jumped in as interim CFO to help shepherd the closing of a growth equity capital raise + support a corp. dev initiative through completion. He has already dug in as interim CFO of a second portfolio company.
Stephen says...
Professionally, my biggest skill is the ability to analyze situations super-fast and then just drive – I love to execute with high speed and high quality and am excited to take high stakes, tough decisions based on the right combination of data and instinct.
I like to live at the highest levels thinking about strategic direction and on the ‘factory floor’ working with operators, salespeople, engineers, etc. Managing hundreds of team members across multiple continents has helped me hone leadership and management across periods of high growth and rationalization.
In addition, I have significant technology leadership experience (i.e. have overseen multiple Product teams and managed a team as large as 100 engineers) and believe in building nimble systems and products to create repeatable, sustainable processes.
Before RBI, where he was President of Tim Hortons and Head of M&A, Stephen spent four years with Morgan Stanley in Sao Paulo and New York in investment banking. And before that, 2 years with McKinsey & Company in strategy consulting. Stephen holds a B.A. in in Finance, Management, and Political Science from University of Pennsylvania, with Summa Cum Laude honors, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
Some fun facts:
Outside of work, Stephen and his husband love to travel, cook, and walk as much as possible. His personal record is 44k steps in a single day.
Stephen has lived all over the world, including New York, Miami, Toronto, Sao Paulo, Zurich, Paris, London, Hong Kong, and Provence.
Welcome Stephen to the Keyframe team! We’re very excited to go on very long walks with you.
